Kristy "Kit" de Guzman is a character designer, illustrator and 3D artist currently residing in Toronto, Canada.
In 2015, she graduated from OCAD University with a Bachelor of Design. She then has fulfilled projects as varied as character concept art and design for animation, props and background production art, children's book illustrations, advertising illustrations for clients and miscellaneous portraits and doodles for special people.
Her work is inspired by the European masters, East Asian culture and Saturday morning cartoons. She aspires to tell stories and create worlds of the unseen ordinary.
From 2017 to 2026, she worked at Snap Inc. as a Bitmoji designer creating all sorts of avatar assets such as clothing, hairstyles, props, 2D backgrounds, sticker concepts and other miscellaneous things that can only exist in the realm of Bitmoji.
In June 2026, Kristy joined The Kobold Collective as a designer and illustrator. Together with her talented and wholesome teammates, they are working on an upcoming game while actively promoting the new Toronto indie company in the game industry.
Kristy's other side quests have been working on personal art, volunteering at her local church and keeping her plants alive.
